SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Saturday, July 26

6am-8:00 am Herrick 2^nd Annual Dam Fishing Tournament – at Prairie Rose Playhouse. . 

check in your 1-2 man team with fishing licenses and $10 . . . only fish local dams and lakes .  Must check in with those moster fish NO LATER THAN 12noon!

6am-8:00 am NOTE!!! Prairie Rose Playhouse is hosting Breakfast as you sign in for these morning events –come on in and Pig Out!

8:00 am Bike/Hike and T-Shirt Drawing at Prairie Rose Playhouse  (leave at 8:15)

9:00 am Trail Ride meet in field south of ball park

4:00 pm Parade Line-Up in front of Herrick Schoolhouse  Enjoy FREE watermelon and ice cream and let the kids ride the Pig Train while you wait for the parade to begin! Try catching one of this year’s Squeal Meal buttons – a real collector’s item!

5:00 pm Parade Begins – decorate your entry and win the prize for “Best Business”, “Best Individual or Family” or “Most Creative!”

KIDS GAMES in the park afterwards…Frog Races, Tug-o-War, Duck Pond, Pig Catchin, Chicken Drop Bingo and more!!      

6:30 pm Pork BBQ and Potluck in the park. Pork sandwiches, beverages, plates & utensils are provided.  Bring your favorite casserole, salad or dessert. Free will offering. PIG SQUEALING CONTEST while you line up for the meal!

8:00 pm  Free Street Dance sponsored by the Squeal Meal Committee (let’s hear a big grunt for them!!) on Herrick’s Main Street . Bernie’s Inn and the Legion will be offering food and refreshments and a pancake feast will follow at the end of the night (or early in the morning!).

Sunday, July 27

8:00 am Church Service at Prairie Rose Playhouse.  Pastor Mark Turner of the Herrick-Burke-Jamison Methodist Church will officiate – coffee, juice and rolls to follow.
